Description
Blackhole Pro extends standard WordPress security by targeting non-compliant bots and malicious automated scrapers before they cause harm. This plugin WordPress sets up a hidden link trap on your site that well-behaved bots ignore according to robots.txt rules, while malicious crawlers follow it and get automatically blocked.
Key features include real-time IP banning, automated bot detection, customizable block lists, and detailed logging of blocked requests. Site administrators can view detailed activity reports, whitelisted trusted bots, and manage banned IP ranges directly from the dashboard.
The plugin helps save bandwidth and reduce server overhead by cutting off automated threat traffic early in the request process. It operates cleanly in the background with minimal impact on performance or legimate user traffic.
Fully compatible with major security extensions and theme WordPress setups, Blackhole Pro provides a proactive layer of protection for high-traffic blogs, e-commerce stores, and corporate websites.
