This addon is essential for preventing fake registrations, verifying user identity, and ensuring that your member database contains only valid email addresses. It integrates seamlessly with the core PMPro checkout and member management workflow.

Description
Paid Memberships Pro – Email Confirmation Addon introduces a validation layer to the signup process of your membership site. When a new user registers, their account is placed in a “pending” state until they confirm their email address via a unique verification link. This process ensures that every member provides a functional email, which is critical for communication, billing, and site security.
The plugin allows administrators to customize the confirmation email and the landing page users see after successful verification. It provides a simple management interface to see which members are confirmed and allows for manual activation if necessary. By filtering out automated bots and typos at the source, this addon maintains a clean user list and improves the overall deliverability of your site’s automated notifications. It is a lightweight solution for any PMPro site requiring high-quality user data.
