Gravity Forms – SMTP Plugin

4 USD

Gravity Forms SMTP is the reliable way to make sure every form submission email actually arrives in the inbox instead of getting lost in spam or never sending at all. It fixes the broken default WordPress mail function by routing Gravity Forms emails through a real SMTP server (Gmail, Gmail Workspace, Outlook, SendGrid, Mailgun, Amazon SES, SMTP.com, Zoho, Brevo, etc.) with full authentication support.

Description

Gravity Forms is great at collecting data, but the emails it sends (form confirmations, admin notifications, payment receipts, user registrations) often fail or hit spam because most hosts use unreliable PHP mail(). Gravity Forms SMTP solves that completely by letting you connect any SMTP service and route every outgoing email through it.

Setup is straightforward: choose your mailer (Gmail OAuth is the easiest—no app passwords needed), enter credentials, test send, and you’re done. All Gravity Forms emails now use the SMTP connection automatically—no extra configuration per form.

Pro-level features that make it stand out:

  • OAuth support for Gmail/Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 – secure, no app passwords
  • Full email log – records every email sent (to, subject, status, error message, headers) with search and one-click resend
  • Failed email handling – retry failed sends automatically or manually from the log
  • Multiple mailers – set primary + backup (e.g., Gmail primary, SendGrid fallback)
  • Custom From Name/Email – force consistent branding even if forms try to override
  • Debug mode – detailed logs for troubleshooting connection issues

It works with every Gravity Forms type: contact, registration, payment, quiz results, survey summaries, file upload notifications—you name it. Integrates perfectly with WooCommerce (order emails), MemberPress, LearnDash, and anything using wp_mail().

Performance stays light: only loads SMTP code when sending email, no front-end impact. Supports multisite, WPML/RTL, and plays nice with caching/security plugins.
